Abu Simbel is a part of UNESCO World Heritage Site which is well known for Its Nubian Monuments. The Great Temple of Abu Simbel presents the most familiar image of an ancient Egypt.

The Abu Simbel Temples are carved out of the Solid rock which is situated at the bank of the Nile River, south of Aswan near the border of Egypt.

The Great Abu Simbel Temples are dedicated to Pharaoh Ramses II featuring other three gods within the innermost part of the rock-cut temple.

Abu Simbel Temple is a series of halls and rooms which are extended up to 185 feet from the entrance. The most outstanding feature of the monument is that it is oriented so precisely that the first rays of the morning sun shine enlighten the entire temple cave. This phenomenon happens only twice a year on 22 February and 22 October.

The reconstructed temples are relocated above 60 meters than earlier position to save from Lake Nasser.
